Passover (Pesach in Hebrew) will be celebrated here next Saturday, April 19, (Nisan 14 in the biblical calendar). It is also the time of the crucifixion and resurrection of the Lord according to scripture. Our celebration will begin at 4:30 p.m. on Shabbat (Saturday). Whole Loaf will provide Kosher brisket, chicken and lamb. The rest of the meal will be by covered dish. Please sign up this weekend because our seating is limited.
The latest e-mail from Israel (April 9) regarding bomb victim Ami Oritz said "Yesterday Ami began sitting up and today he walked! He had a little help, but he walked! Each day he shows miraculous improvement. To see where he was and where he is now is nothing less than a miracle!" The doctor told his parents, David & Leah, that it may be a year before Ami is really moving again. One of the most encouraging things for him is the postcards coming from around the world. The e-mail said, "He's enjoying seeing all the places they're coming from and your words are actually bringing emotional, physical and spiritual healing to him."
